Musings of an Ukraine Traveler

Walking along and then above the river was a centering experience for all of us as you can see in Wini's smile. The rapids, the small waterfalls reminded me of Idaho and home. 

Every wall, every window, every yard had been scrupulously cleaned for the Easter season. Every house, tree and yard is tenderly cared for here in Kosiv no matter the age of the site.

This new house in Victorian style has a matching well cover which you can barely see in the background.

This hotel at the top of the mountain was our goal. Here Alice approaches the pond filled with spring run off at the moment. Log buildings to either side contain other amenities like a sauna and pool.

This is the road leading up to the hotel and the view from the front of it. Maybe we will stay here next time although it is far from the center of town.
