Musings of an Ukraine Traveler

The Feast of Friendship Continues

Here she goes and when this lady starts playing her tambourine there is no stopping her.

Here our singer, player starts her invitation to follow her outside for dancing in spite of the fact that we were full, full, full. Children joined us, even the baby in the background.

Notice the accordion player sits down. Not our leader, she talked, sang, led us in dances for at least half an hour and we all had a great time. Not only had the house been freshly painted for our arrival, but so was the fence. We were honored and moved.

Tina and Tom O'Keefe waltz while Holly and Alice watch in the shade

Moji Nabavian, our host and his counterpart, Oksana get into the dance by playing the tambourine.

Here we are resting up next to the lake after the huge lunch, dancing and a walk through an apple orchard. Alice zonks out. Wini takes note and the guys decide to go skinny dipping.  What a glorious autumn day! And we had to go back and eat dinner and drink more vodka. Tough day indeed.
