 Every town has a cultural center and a statue of Lenin somewhere in the center of town. A stage is set up in front and here is where most state and city celebrations take place. Inside the cultural center is the history museum where I got a personal tour. There is also a dance school, a small internet club-one computer, a copier, a stationery and book store and a performing arts stage. There is even a disco in the basement. I haven't been. Am told that there are 6 discos in town and a strip club. |
 I took this picture on the left from the end of the central park. It is spring and the flowers have not yet bloomed. Chestnut trees line and shade the benches and walkways. You are looking east to Memorial Plaza. |
