Musings of an Ukraine Traveler

The days were filled not only with class, but lots and lots of activity that taught us and bonded us.

Greek day brought out the creativity of the Blueberry team as they used curtains and sheets for authentic-looking togas.

Lena B helps get the shirts a dyeing.

What beautiful colors and beautiful girls!

Yep, this is really Michael H on gender switching day. He never did get the walk down! Love you Michael. Thanks for all the energy.

Team Challenges included Spider Web, Medieval Maze, River Crossing and pictured here, Sherpa's Walk. Blindfolded team members were directed through an obstacle course by two guides using a language that they made up and taught in 6 minutes to their team.

Session 2 prepares to leave. The crazy bee tops the stairs.

Goodbyes are hard, but we all had to get back to our real lives.

Michael, Carrie, Anna, Andriy, Katya and all the rest that I don't have pictures of. You were the best of the best for these young Ukrainians. This babushka was so glad to be a part of the team.

Helen, drama teacher and new friend. We graduated too!
