Hi Penny -

We just wanted to say thank you for making all the travel arrangements for our wedding in Turks & Caicos at the Beaches resort. Everyone made the trip without any difficulty.

On to the honeymoon ~ at Sandals Royal Bahamian we said "This is what we're talking about". The resort, the art and decor are very beautiful and very romantic. They have a very good variety of restaurants and the food and service is great! The playmakers were very friendly and after a couple of events they knew our names and made sure they got us involved.

We took a side trip to Atlantis and other than the aquariums, found it to be like being in a busy airport (O'Hare come to my mind). After seeing the aquariums we had 2 hrs to kill so we opted to do the time share tour and get back some money. The tour of the resort cost us $60, they gave us a voucher for $75 after the time share tour and one thousand "not interested". We figure we made out ok, we saw Atlantis, they fed us lunch and gave us $75. Of course it cost us $13 for the 2 Kaliks we had waiting for the bus. At any rate, we won't go back to Atlantis.

We loved the resort and every day on the way back to our room we would stop by the piano bar as they laid out goodies in the late afternoon and offered plates of them to take back to rooms if you desired. There were several bartenders who bent over backwards to be friendly (Maggeo was the best). He taught me how to do a Bahamian handshake. He took very good care of us whenever he saw us in the several restaurants/bars he was working in.

The only bad thing was having to end 11 nights/12 days in the Caribbean at Sandals and Beaches properties, both which we would highly recommend to anyone. We plan on making return trips to both resorts at some point, with Turks being our 5 year plan. It is not any wonder that Turks & Caicos is rated so high for the beach and water by so many travel magazines. Not to mention it is one of the top 5 snorkeling/dive destinations in the world.

Yes! Travel Agents get to go on vacation once in a while too. The Sandals Royal Bahamian is an absolutely beautiful resort. There are so many places to eat that one should really go on a diet before vacation. The staff is absolutely the best and I would highly recommend the spa services. Talk about feeling pampered!

Penny,

Brett and I had a wonderful time at the Sandals Royal Bahamian in August. It was a great vacation and neither of us wanted to return to "real life" but, unfortunately we had to.

We were so intent on upgrading our room once we arrived, but decided to stay in the garden area after all, as we very much liked the privacy. I took advantage of some of the spa services and they were great!! The weather was beautiful the entire time. We met some very nice guests and found the employees to be most accommodating. I was a little apprehensive about being older than the average guest before we arrived, but found there were many others in our age group.( The one advantage to not being young guests was not feeling that I had to look as good in a bathing suit as they did!) We relaxed, we ate and drank to our heart's content, shopped downtown, went to the casinos at the Atlantis and Marriott, and took advantage of some of the entertainment at the resort. We were never bored nor did we feel "harried" as we do in our everyday life.

We had a great 25th anniversary. Our daughter gave us a surprise anniversary party about two weeks before the trip and it was just wonderful. This will remain a memorable year for us always.

We now plan on visiting another Sandals and have told all of our friends how great it was. I have shared brochures received from both you and Sandals with some friends and have some still waiting to see them. We are thankful that you made a personal contact, otherwise we probably would not have chosen Sandals. Good job!!

Thanks again.
