Dear Penny,
On behalf of my new husband, myself and our wedding party of 40 friends
and family, I would like to thank you for the INCREDIBLE job you did
coordinating our spectacular Jamaican wedding.
When I first approached the idea of a wedding in Jamaica
to my mother and father, they looked at me like I had 10 heads. I wanted
to bring my fiancé's family, which included two children and my family,
including my grandmother, and a bunch of friends to Jamaica for a week
to participate in our marriage. They never dreamed that it could be so
perfect.
Beaches Boscobel was beautiful. The rooms were fabulous
and came second to none except the food, but nothing topped how
terrifically friendly and accommodating the people were. We had a flower
girl (age 8) and a ring bearer (age 2) who had the time of their lives
and since then have talk about nothing but a return trip to Jamaica. My
grandmother was also a guest at Boscobel and even though the resort
accommodated children, I think she may have had more fun than they did.
The wedding itself couldn't have been more spectacular.
Michael and I were married at sunset on a pier overlooking the bright
blue ocean and white sand beaches amongst 40 friends and family. The
wedding coordinator saw to every little detail and all I had to worry
about was which flowers I thought complimented my dress. The ceremony
was very personal and special. The champaign flowed non-stop during the
cocktail hour and the dinner at the Italian Restaurant was equal to
anything we could book in the U.S. (with my Italian heritage, I know a
bit about great Italian food).
More importantly, I would like to compliment you on what
an incredible job you did booking 40 people for a week-long vacation
thousands of miles away. We left for Jamaica on different days, from
different states, stayed in different room categories, and even stayed
for different lengths of time, leaving on different days, all without a
hitch!! There was NOT ONE complaint. Everything was in perfect order. As
a testimony to how wonderful you and Beaches are, all 40 of us
(grandmother and children included) are returning to Jamaica for our
first year anniversary and will, of course, be using you to book it all.
