No. Airfare is not included. 

Is the departure tax included:
No. A departure tax is to be paid upon leaving the airport. 

Are safety deposit boxes available?:
Safe deposit boxes are included in every room. Guests with expensive jewelry and/or large amounts of cash are advised to store all valuables in safe deposit boxes as Sandals Resorts cannot be held responsible. 

What is the check out time?:
Guests are required to check out by 11:30 a.m. on the morning of departure. However, you may continue to use all of the resort's amenities until your departure time. 

What temperatures should I expect?:
Eat your heart out Jack Frost, the temperatures in the Caribbean are passionately warm year-round Day time average: 82F, 28C. Night time averages: 72F, 22C. 

Does Sandals have an on-site nurse?:
Yes, our nurses are on duty from 7:00am -11pm and are happy to take care of you, even treat a sunburn! Her services are complimentary, however, there is a charge for medication and doctor's consultations. 

Electric Current:
110 volts, 50 cycles in Jamaica; 110 volts, 60 cycles in Antigua; 220 volts, 50 cycles in St. Lucia and 120 volts, 60 cycles in the Bahamas. But don't worry about bringing your hair dryers, they're already provided in every room. 

What if I forget my toothbrush?:
All Sandals resort have a complete gift shop where you can buy, not only Sandals paraphernalia, but also sundries, tobacco, perfumes and more.

Is Clothing optional sunbathing allowed at Sandals?
Sandals does not promote or advertise clothing optional/topless sunbathing. In the event a guest chooses to participate in this activity in more remote areas, Sandals' management will intervene only in the event it becomes disruptive to any guest.

Should I bring an Iron?:
Irons are available for Sandal's guests convenience. If one is missing upon your arrival please contact the front desk or housekeeping as they will be happy to provide you with one.

What should I wear?:
Pack as light a possible. Casual wear such as shorts, tank tops, swim suits, short-sleeved shirts, sundresses and light slacks are the perfect day-wear fashion at Beaches. At night, we welcome "casually elegant." Proper attire is required at dinner seatings. No beachwear, shorts, tank tops or bare feet, please. Elegant dress shorts are permitted in some restaurants. 

What else should I bring?:

  • Exercise Clothes - Every resort has a complete fitness center, so bring exercise clothes.

  • Tennis Racquets - Tennis racquets and balls are provided, unless you prefer to bring your own.

  • Diver Certification Card - Equipment for scuba diving is provided by Sandals, however you're welcome to bring your own. You must remember your diver certification cards to enjoy full diving privileges.

  • Sun Protection - The Caribbean sun is very strong, so we recommend bringing sun essentials: Sunscreen, suntan lotion, sunglasses, hats and visors. If you forget any of these items you can always purchase them at the gift shops.
